25 Weeks: Grow baby, grow!

According to my pregnancy app, my uterus is now the size of a soccer ball. Wow! It doesn't look that big but I guess it's mostly contained.

My doctor very kindly reduced my hours to part time, which is great because between not sleeping and having near constant back pain, I'm not feeling very rested after a 5 day work week. And I'm just going to get bigger, God willing!

It's all starting to feel very real, in fact, I'm dying to get this pregnancy stuff finished so that I can raise my beautiful little family. I have visions of these two kiddos growing up, coming over for dinner, bringing their spouses, having families of their own, etc, and I just swell with love.

How far along: 25 weeks

Due Date: March 24, 2020 (aiming for an early cesarean around March 17!)

Baby is the size of a(n): eggplant

Total weight gain/loss: I actually lost about a pound at my last appointment.

The Bump: Hasn't grown much this week I don't think.

Symptoms/How I'm feeling: Rib pain has subsided but my belly is taking up a lot of room, and little man is pushing on some nerves!

Food Cravings/Aversions: Fast food but I'm trying to stick to healthier eating.

Sleep: Better, since getting a memory foam mattress topper. I didn't think I'd like it but it's really nice!

Weddings Rings On or Off: On.

Exercise: Not really. I'm not sure there's much sense putting a bunch of pressure on myself to work out a bunch when I'm going to be walking a ton after having him.

Any Names Picked Out Yet: Yes. Not telling.

Gender: Boy!

Movement: Lots, yes.

Maternity Clothes: Bella band with my regular pants and leggings. I think I will need yet more tops. I underestimated how big my bump would get. I also need some pj shirts or something, it's ridiculous.

Labor Signs: None.

What I miss: not being pregnant. Yea! Still!

Best Moment of the Week: As cheesy as it sounds, just spending some nice quality time with my husband and daughter. I love my little family!

What I’m excited about/looking forward to: shopping and the baby shower. Christmas!
