Anyway, the bump is still there, large and in charge. It's not growing too much now, and I haven't felt much movement at all this past week, so naturally I'm internally in turmoil. I will hopefully feel more movement this week!
I got the Bella band, as I mentioned, and that is great - keeps my pants up and also gives me just a little support, which is nice. I'll also be able to use this after baby comes to hide my tummy while breastfeeding, etc.
I also got a maternity coat, which will also serve me as a babywearing coat AND a regular winter coat post-baby, so that is one thing I can check off of my mental list.
Not much has happened baby wise this week, but I am really looking forward to that ultrasound in 2.5 weeks!!!
How far along?: 18 weeks
Due Date: March 24, 2020
Baby is the size of a(n): cucumber??
Total weight gain/loss: I think around 5lbs, nothing major. Last time I was up 15lbs!
The Bump: Yes, growing.
Symptoms/How I'm feeling: Pinched nerves in my back, ouch. Also just mega tired all the time.
Food Cravings/Aversions: nothing strange, just trying to keep my appetite in check.
Sleep: Not bad, I just wake up to pee around 4am and can't often fall back to sleep after that, so that's no good. Training for having a newborn!
Weddings Rings On or Off: On.
Exercise: Not really. I really should..
Any Names Picked Out Yet: Yes. Not telling.
Gender: Unknown. November!
Movement: A bit. Less than I'd like, but also, I felt nothing last time until around 19 weeks. So we'll see!
Maternity Clothes: Bella band. It's the best. I also have a few maternity tops/tanks, and I'll just layer over the tanks to hide my belly. I think I'm done with maternity clothes, except for the hilarious Christmas sweater I want. I better order that soon...
Labor Signs: None. Will not feel these until at the latest, my third trimester.
What I miss: Nothing really, I just want this little baby to be here, healthy, happy. I want our little family!
Best Moment of the Week: getting the bella band and the coat, which I don't need yet but it's a major relief to have. We tend to get sudden freezing snaps so I'm glad I am prepared!
What I’m excited about/looking forward to: Halloween! And the ultrasound!
